About The Cardiff Sash Window Co.

Conservation is at the heart of what we do. From getting stuck windows open again or repairing broken sash cords, to full refurbishment and painting, we use traditional methods and the best modern materials to avoid the need for costly and time-consuming installation of new windows.

Because of our approach we rarely need scaffolding to carry out work, and we work in line with local conservation regulations.

We have over ten years' experience restoring and preserving traditional wooden box sash windows in historic residential and commercial properties, first in London, then in Cardiff, and now in west Wales as well.

We do this out of a passion for older properties and their conservation. Original timber windows are part of what gives a house its character, and most of them can be brought back to full working order.
